We all experience a fall in life and sometimes when we
are down we need someone or people to lift us up. No man can lift himself! Any man
that must rise to great height in life need someone or people to lift him there.
What I seek to achieve in this chapter is to set the fundamental truth that
will help you achieve your dreams, attain your goals and to live a fulfilled
and purposeful life. One of the greatest
resources available to you as a person is not your ‘fat Bank account,’ it is
your ability to interact and relate well with people. When God gives you
favor, He doesn’t just give you favor with Fast cars, good employment and
thriving business alone, He gives you favor with people, so people become a
huge resource to help you accomplish your life goals, achieve your dreams,
access your blessings, check your limitations and to complete you, not people who will compete with you, run
away from such people, and get around people who will complete you. Life is a beautiful song only when you
know how to arrange the lyrics, and you have a good team of orchestras to play
it with you. As you read further, you are going to identify with strategic interest,
alliances and partnerships that you need to establish in life, the connections
that you want and the people you need to be around you.
The Bible
said: “For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in
the midst of them” - Matthew 18:20. And ‘‘if two of you shall agree on earth as
touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my father
which is in Heaven’’ - Matthew 18:19. This text suggests that we are better
together, than when we are apart. God will bring the right people into
your life to help you reach the goals that are within and above your reach.
Sometimes it doesn’t matter what you have; it matters who you know, because,
ultimately, it is the people you know that will help you manage what you have
or help you with what you don’t have. Once your spirit mind catches an idea, it
creates events and situations that will attract the people who will help you to
bring it to pass. An Aeroplane no matter
how scientifically built and engineered can never fly on one wing, for it to
maintain stability when its flies, and accelerate at its maximal capacity, it
must have two wings, so it is with life, you can’t do it all by yourself, you
need likeminded people to complement you. We all need people in our life who
will help us rebound from our fallen state of life, people who will help us
achieve our dreams; people who will help us attain our goals and to live a
fulfilled and purposeful life. Every person needs to partner with and must have
around them likeminded people to make it to great heights in life.
